KINGSIZE SOUNDLABS SOUTH:

STUDIO A: “The CASTLE”
Studio A welcomes greatness. It’s built around a vintage 32 channel Neve 8068 console and is accompanied with a 24ch 2″ MCI tape machine for the analogue lovers. With an HD3 Pro Tools system and a 32 i/o Apogee interface configuration, we have plenty of options for tracking and mixing. In addition to the nice array of outboard gear, this room comes with a Yamaha G2 baby grand piano, vintage upright piano, Hammond B3 organ with dual motor Leslie, additional Hammond organs, and loads of vintage analogue synths as well as amps, guitars, and drums for your choosing.  It’s 5 recording spaces are perfect for all tracking and overdub needs. Studio A also offers two very comfortable lounges and a kitchen just off the control room. Give us a call for a tour!

STUDIO B: “MANT”:
MANT is the new parking place for noted producer/engineer/mixer and all-around nice guy Rob Schnapf’s vintage recording space, filled with outboard gear and his large collection of “bells and whistles.” This truly gives the room a cool vintage feel. MANT comes with a vintage “Class A” 16 channel Electrodyne console (formerly owned by the Sinatras), a ProTools HD3 rig, several amps, analogue keyboards and of course a Mellotron! This room will soon be outfitted with the long-awaited John Musgrave custom MCI Console as well…

STUDIO C: “The CABIN”
Studio C aka “The Cabin” is the perfect budget minded overdub, mixing and editing room. It’s centered around a Digidesign Control 24 and one of our Pro Tools HD3 systems with 24 i/o. A great selection of outboard gear and the amazing sounding Inward Connections Summimg Buss makes Studio C a force to be reckoned with at any budget!

SOUNDLABS 1-3: “The CAPSULES”:
“The Capsules,” are smaller control rooms / ISO booth production rooms. These rooms offer a very affordable way of recording and mixing projects that need a lockout type schedule. The Capsules can be equipped as needed per project and can host visiting rigs as well. Let us help put together a package that meets your needs and budget! Soundlabs 2 and 3 are also available for month to month lock outs. Please contact us for details if interested.

SOUNDLAB1 - SL1 is our swiss army knife of a room. Set up to handle basic overdubs, editing and mixing this room gives huge value!

MASTERING: “LITTLE RED BOOK”

CHATEAU TRUMFIO:
Chateau Trumfio is the private overdub and mixing studio of Kingsize Soundlabs owner Dave Trumfio. Dave’s been known to make Chateau Trumfio (aka “Le Chateau”) available to our regular clients when he needs a break. Located in the hills of Silverlake “Le Chateau” offers clients spectacular views, a swimming pool and oh yeah, a kick ass studio. Call us for more info….

KINGSIZE SOUNDLABS NORTH:

KingsizeSoundlabs (North) is a brand new facility focused on providing private month to month lock outs for independent music producers, writers and mixers. Located in Atwater Village, Kingsize Soundlabs (North) offers 6 “plug and play” recording and mixing studios varying in size and purpose. At the heart of this facility is a 5.1 mixing theater designed to emulate the real world home theater along with 5 producer suites that included treated control rooms and iso booths. Gated parking and full kitchen on premises rounds out this top notch facility we are excited to offer as of fall 2009.
